So, my thought on UFOs has always been that they were black Air Force projects that whoever it was that saw them didn’t have the clearance to know about. So, in this instance it seems like some senators decided to use government money to investigate u.s. projects that they had no business investigating. If they were declassified then we would know about them. Is that said in either case if they’re skunkworks planes, or if theyre alien saucers, I’d be super excited to learn about them

Because even if there are aliens visiting our planet (which there probably aren’t), Harry Reid is probably the wrong guy to be researching it. Why? Because even if he does find aliens, in the process of doing so he’s likely going to out a whole bunch of military research that we’re spending a lot of money to keep secret. My guess is that Bigelow doesn’t have anywhere near the clearance he would need actually undertake a project like this.

I don’t give a shit whether aliens or bigfoot exists, but we discover new species of organisms in the oceans every day that we had no idea existed the day before and they’ve been here for millions of years in some cases.

Reid got $22m from someone who he gave another large sum of money to help get into office. Once in office he gives Reid $22m of government money. at least thats how i understand it.

Well, I think that it’s pretty much the gimmick that Harry Reid is using to sell the whole project. My guess is that it’s his way of allowing Bigelow access to classified projects that he wouldn’t be allowed to access otherwise.
